Amélie Proulx draws upon the codes and techniques of arts and crafts, pushing the limits of ceramics. At the heart of Laurent Craste’s artistic pursuit is the decorative object. His research centers on the conceptual explorations of the multilayered meanings of decorative collectibles.

Join us for a live performance of Là où cueillir la chute (Harvesting the Water-Fall) by Montreal-based artist Marie Côté in collaboration with Peter Morin, artist and curator of the Tahltan First Nation ; Ziya Tabassian, percussionist; Olivier Girouard, electro acoustician and composer; and Navid Navab, multidisciplinary artist and composer. A visual and musical journey in five tableaux, the performance brings together Côté's singing bowls with breathing, music, and Hand Talk (Plains Indian Sign Language) translated by Dr. Melanie McKay-Cody, a linguist of Cherokee, Choctaw, Shawnee, Pamunkey, Narragansett, Montaukett, Mohawk, and Pequot heritage.

Natalia Arbalaez constructs surreal stories in clay, creating a multicomponent self-portrait of what it is like to be a Mestizo-Colombian-American hybrid.
